Dear Valued Patient, our office is OPEN and We’re Here for YOU!
We never closed during the COVID-19 shutdown, we just practiced safety protocols.

At Optometric Associates, the health and safety of our patients and employees is our top concern. Our office has a long-standing practice of disinfecting all areas of our office throughout the day, and all clinic areas are disinfected prior to every patient seen.

Our team is committed to the eye health and well-being of our patients and our community. Our office is providing ALL routine eye care services, including eye emergency care, glaucoma management, dry eye management, contact lens examinations, glasses examinations, medication refills, eyeglass repairs, and the dispensing of contact lenses.

Please contact our office at 717-354-2020 or text us prior to your visit to communicate your needs. Because we are running on a slightly reduced clinic schedule, please double check our hours of operation before visiting. Feel free to contact us with any questions. Thank you.

Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT)

What Is CRT?

Corneal Reshaping, or Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT,) is a safe, non-surgical and reversible process that uses specially designed CRT® Brand Contact Lenses to gently reshape the surface of your eye during sleep, thereby providing clear vision during the day. This eye-reshaping is similar to what happens in LASIK, but there is no surgery. The effect is temporary, so lenses must be worn during sleep each night. The result is better vision as light passes through the properly shaped cornea.

Who Benefits From CRT?

CRT can have good results in patients with nearsightedness and mild astigmatism. CRT allows many people freedom from wearing eyeglasses or contact lenses during the day. For children and adults who have stopped wearing daytime soft contact lenses due to lens dryness or discomfort, Corneal Reshaping with CRT Contact Lenses can provide a healthier alternative and provide clear vision during the day.

How Do I Know I Can Use CRT?

The doctor will use your data and particular situation to determine if CRT is right for you. You will need to be fitted for the devices and learn how to properly use and care for them.
