Dr. Cindy Koza is a Pennsylvania native and has returned to her roots in 2018 after practicing for most of her career in Virginia. Her path to optometry was inspired by her own optometrist, Dr. Ines Casado, who had helped her see with glasses and contacts since the age of 10. As a high school student, Dr. Koza shadowed Dr. Casado for a school project, and was immediately drawn to the career for the satisfaction of helping people and the reward in building life-long patient relationships.

Dr. Koza now calls Dr. Casado a mentor as well as a fellow Villanova alumni, and now an optometric colleague. Meeting patients who are still discovering their path and are enthusiastic about discussing their journey possibly towards optometry or any other career is a highlight of the patient experience for Dr. Koza, as she aspires to be a 'Dr. Casado' for her own young patients.

Out of high school with her focus (pun-intended) on eventually attending optometry school, she pursued a degree in Chemistry at Villanova University. At Villanova, Dr. Koza also played four years of varsity lacrosse. Upon graduating from Villanova, she took her academics and competitive drive to sunny Florida. In Fort Lauderdale, she attended Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry while also developing an interest in endurance sports. She balanced long days (and nights) of studying with training for marathons and triathlons.

Her most notable training while in school was in Bethel, Alaska. Dr. Koza spent 3 months in rural Alaska serving the Eskimo-Indian population in Bethel and surrounding villages, only accessible by small commuter airplanes and snow mobiles. After completing her Doctorate of Optometry and other clinical training, she settled in Virginia and worked for eight years in two different ophthalmology practices. She worked alongside optometrists and ophthalmologists specializing in cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgeries, while providing comprehensive routine and medical examinations, as well as emergent care.

Dr. Koza most recently had experience working in a small town practice equipped with the latest in cutting-edge technology. As once a LASIK and dry eye patient herself, Dr. Koza has a special interest in LASIK co-management and the advancements in technology for dry eye management.

Above all, Dr. Koza values the relationships made with patients of all ages by providing comprehensive care with enthusiasm and a smile.

While not seeing patients, Dr. Koza relaxes with crafting, yoga and traveling with her fiancé to their favorite beaches on Hilton Head and the Hawaiian islands.

Dr. Wolfram retired from patient care in May 2021, but he will still stay involved in guiding the practice forward sharing his years of wisdom, experience, and knowledge.

Dr. Wolfram Andrews was born and raised in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany. He traveled to the United States at a young age of 18 to begin a new and prosperous life. Settling in Columbus Ohio, Dr. Andrews graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He played 4 years on the varsity soccer team achieving Outstanding Sophomore status and was selected for the All-Midwest Team during his junior year.

Upon graduating from The Ohio State University, he began his optometric schooling at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. During his time in optometry school, he served as vice president of his class all four years, and was also an avid member of the student council. During his fourth year of optometry school, Dr. Andrews completed an externship program at the Baltimore Optometric Center where he treated many patients and became familiar with working in an optometric practice. In addition, he worked with Dr. Albert E. Wascou in New Holland Pennsylvania.

Andrews has traveled extensively to focus on global eye care. He went to Cap Haitien, Haiti in 1976 as part of his education to treat some of the various eye diseases of the Haitian people. In 1984, he journeyed to the Turks and Caicos Islands where he spent about two weeks flying to remote areas to deliver eye care to residents who had not had care in decades. Dr. Andrews enjoys annual mission trips to Guatemala where he provides eye care to missionaries and dozens of locals every year. He continues to serve also on a local level providing free eye exams and glasses to missionaries who are affiliated with his local church.

Once graduated as a Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Andrews decided to pursue his career in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He began moonlighting at several practice locations before he and Dr. Jay Stoltzfus opened their own practice known as Optometric Associates. The doors opened in May of 1981 with the desire to offer high quality care at reasonable prices to satisfy their patients needs. Today after more than 33 years of practice at the same location, the goal remains the same.

Dr. Andrews has extensive training in specialty contact lenses, detection and treatment of ocular disease, and geriatric eye care. He enjoys working with patients in a one on one setting and appreciates the small town feel of his practice. Many of his patients have been with him since the practice opened it’s doors.

He is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of New Holland, where he still attends weekly meetings after 26 years of membership. In addition he is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Optometric Associations. He currently resides in New Holland with his wife, Arlene with whom he has five children. He was thrilled to add his son Dr. Jonathan Andrews as an associate doctor at the practice in May of 2014.

When not at work, he enjoys being with his family, working out in the gym, and riding his motorcycle down to the beach. He is also delighted to spend time with his granddaughters, all under the age of two, and his Old English Mastiff named Brutus (after the Buckeyes, of course!).

Dr. Colin Kingston grew up in the suburbs of Burlington, Vermont. He became attracted to optometry as a profession as a young teen when he went for his first eye exam. Dr. Kingston was drawn to the warmth and professionalism of his own optometrist at that visit. The amazement and gratitude he felt at the improvement in quality of life glasses afforded him inspired him to help others achieve the safe comfort and clarity.

Dr. Kingston earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. As an interdisciplinary major, neuroscience provided him a well-rounded approach to learning, ideal for a medical professional. After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Kingston applied to and was accepted by his first choice of optometry schools, The Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Throughout the years of his professional schooling, Dr. Kingston trained alongside excellent clinicians in various aspects of optometry up and down the east coast. He gained clinical experience with surgical eye management in Maryland, ocular disease training in Maine, specialty and primary contact lens care in North Carolina, and pediatric eye care in Philadelphia.

To further his skills and knowledge base of ocular health and wellbeing, Dr Kingston chose to do a residency in ocular disease at the White River Junction Veteran’s Association in White River Junction, Vermont. At this site he treated a vast patient base with a high concentration of ocular diseases including glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, dry eye, and macular degeneration. He gained invaluable insights and clinical pearls from excellent attending doctors alike and collaborated on many complex systemic and ocular cases.

Dr. Kingston enjoys getting to know his patients one-on-one in a relaxed office environment while educating and also learning from them.

Outside of work, Dr. Kingston continues his studies outside through continuing education seminars in order to be a knowledgeable and informed provider.

My first visit with this office was without a doubt the most thorough visit I have had in my long history of eye care. I received an explanation by Dr, Andrews each step of the way with very detailed information of the next steps in my care. Every encounter with every staff member was polite, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Very impressed with Dr. Andrews and the staff! They are helping me with dry eye and contacts and offered holistic alternatives. Love that. Glad I checked them out.

This was our first visit for my husband to Optometric Associates. The staff was so friendly and professional. Everyone made us feel so comfortable and really listened to my husband's eye challenges and they took the time to explain his diagnosis in detail. The facility was very clean and we were really impressed with the state of the art equipment that was used. This was a very pleasant experience and we would highly recommend Optometric Associates to our friends and family.
